Da lag oh god da lag! It was a very nice animation but it gave me a headache @_@. Looking forward to rewatching it on youtube, hopefully with less lag.
Good Animation but totally missed the joke. It's been forever since I've seen land before time. Actually, not since I was a kid. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I had to look through comments to find out the joke and I'm if you haven't watch this movie in the last couple of years you won't get it either. Brings back memories though . . .
When you make an animation got to the last frame, create a new layer, go into the actions panel, and type "stop();" so it doesn't keep looping indefinitely. Anyway, I agree with BadArbiphile I would try posting on youtube.

It's still cool though, but is there anyway to hear other people's projects? I think that would be a cool feature to add if it doesn't exist, sort of like sharing maps on linerider.

I saw was still up on april 1st so I thought it was just a joke but I guess not....
I don't mean to be rude but aren't better flash games being made right now? This is a total affront to the community. This isn't a bad game but it's not that good either. It's just decent. VA- okay, GFX- bearable, controls- okay, and so on. What particularly stands out about it though besides the fact that it's been featured 6 times!
Also, I know that the controls and setting is a bit of a throwback back to metroid but those who rate this highly just because of that are kidding themselves and the author of this. This is nothing like metroid. metroid games main feature is that it's an exploration and adventure game being marketed as a platformer. The levels can be difficult but they're also interesting and unique. The abilities you gain keep you playing as well as the different creatures you encounter. The gamealters your play style as you play forcing to adapt to your upgrades and new encounters.
This game comes nowhere close.
Levels- generic (looks rushed)
Gameplay- a platformer that feels like a corridor shooter
Plot- a little inspired
My personal gripes (just with this last one)-
(I played for 30 mins to give this a good review.)
- moving between stages is ridiculous. Sometimes you spawn right in an enemy or enemy fire. Add some kind of 1 sec invulnerability or work more on stage entries.
- controls make this game unnecessarily hard. A mouse aim would make it easier. Sorry I don't like controls that make the game needlessly hard.
- the guns don't shoot out the front of the barrel which gets annoying.
- when you go back through levels the enemies reappear.
- if you fall some times you can go down multiple levels because when you are hit you're stunned for a couple seconds.
- the total lack of save points or any place to heal is ridiculous. If your making the levels hard I should have to go back through 15 rooms to get to where I was.
Finally, the game isn't that bad, and I'm more disappointed with newgrounds management than this particular artist. There has been a significant improvement from the first game that shows a willingness to learn along with the dedication of making 6 games (even though many elements were reused).
I can really see the effort put into this.... which is why I didn't give it a 0...
but I simply cannot support this at the cost of other talented authors with more creative and detailed approaches.
a simpler sift heads
Very unoriginal but still fun shooter. It would be nice if you could have added your own spin on it: for example- maybe arm and leg shots or a more interesting shooter puzzle. Also the game feels a little bit glitchy. In the third mission I shot the guard inside the base first then proceeded to kill the rest in order it let me shoot the last guard but I still lost. So for no other reason than bad coding I had to shoot the guy in the booth first. Also sometimes the game will let me fire multiple shot in the same level but other times if I miss once it's game over. Decent game but needs more creativity and some better coding.
I dont really understand what you mean about the 3rd level, youre meant to shoot the guard in the booth before the last too. The coding is fine. In all the levels, apart from the 3rd ,shooting near the guards will cause you to fail the level.
