When you make an animation got to the last frame, create a new layer, go into the actions panel, and type "stop();" so it doesn't keep looping indefinitely. Anyway, I agree with BadArbiphile I would try posting on youtube.

k. thanks for the feed back and the help :)

Well, I don't mind political messages in animation but this was just dumb. I went out of my way to watch that commercial you posted and it is nothing like your parody. Absolutely, not even relatable. I'm not sure what you were thinking. The ad didn't even mention Mitt Romney or Paul Ryan. It didn't even mention minorities. All it had was the voice of a black man singing in the background. This isn't just a stretch it's straight prejudice. No, not in the racial sense but you absolutely prejudged the ad before even analyzing it. If anybody disagrees with me your more than welcome to watch the ad yourself:

Animation was alright but the comedy failed because it wasn't really a parody since it used 0% of the source material to make fun of. On top of that's the accusation of Mitt Romney were just so far from reality I was more confused than humored.

JeremyLokken responds:

The president made a political commercial specifically for urban outreach. This cartoon exaggerates that by using looser slang/accent, while playing on the anti-minority stance that media links to Romney. It's parody because it exaggerates this stance into the absurd. Several other reviewers got it. Not sure how much more clear I can be. Uh..thanks for the review?

Sorry, I have a short attention span. So far I can tell it's of really good quality though. It looks like it's going to be one of those pschological, introspective, super-artsy pieces I'm not usually into, mainly because they have the pacing of holding an old lady's hand while crossing the street. I'll probably end up watching the rest of it later just for the artwork as it is terrific. The scene changing the bed into a car was marvelous. So far, I admire the intent to do without dialogue but it makes for an awfully slow story. I just don't think visual story telling has to be slow. I think people are far more sympathetic to psychology and dreams than some story tellers give them credit for. So yes, I'm criticizing the pacing. Perhaps it will pay out eventually. In my history the build up usually falls flat more often than not but I try to always gives them a chance even if it does bore me at first there are usually more than a few redeeming qualities towards the end, I hope at least. . . rating pending.

mgproductions responds:

Why'd you even rate it to begin with if you hadn't watched the whole thing yet?
It's quite fast paced, i didn't want it to be one of slow boring art films that are all black and white and whatnot.. Give the whole thing a go and even if you don't like it i certainly don't think it deserves 0/5

Way too many tens! Shaky cam =/= better animation

All these people overrating made me bring down my rating by a couple points. There's some pretty big flaws animation wise. Plot was nonexistent but that's okay sense it was obvious from the title that it's just going to be about pokemon fighting. There's a shit ton of beams flying around and monsters getting hit with them but getting right back up after a couple seconds. Just your ordinary anime physics. A lot of scenes were just some flashy effects, a camera shakes and character moving in some ungainly way. Shaky cam does not cover the poor tweening. The animation was long and the fight was decently scripted but it's been done so many times: "Rivals team up to face an overpowered enemy . . . etc . . . in the end they all work together to defeat him".
Nonetheless the choreography was okay but it loses tons of points for the characters flying around the entire time and using only beam attacks. Also it's impossible to really understand what's going on when you don't have all the characters in proximity to Raquaza in the same shot at least some of the time. This forces you to animate even when characters aren't in the action. And last but not least the final fight scene was uninspired at the least. You took it right out an ep of DBZ it's a bunch of horrible lines across the screen as characters fly around faster than we can see which makes a perfect excuse for the animator to NOT animate. To be frank this is a flashy 6 it's unoriginal and uninspired but maybe still interesting. It's DBZ meets "insert here". It's a decent animation but deserves way more criticism than it's getting.

Tyrant-D responds:

haha! only the lanky green dragon was using beam attacks no one else. Anyways I have to say, I can't please everyone :) so thanks for your intake.
